The 2nd decade of my life

Hey people! Today..wait. Yesterday or to be more accurate, 43 minutes ago, I just passed the two decade line of my life. *epic music plays* Oh that moment. That special moment. To know you lived two decades and counting and all. Life...*tears* is so precious! XD

Oh well, a bit about my day. It was pretty much normal, the usual. Woke up at 11 or so...being a Sunday. Cake and went and met up with some friends. I celebrated my birthday this year a tad bit earlier with my dear girlfriend. It was at an event a week or so back. So she decided to surprise me with a cake. Well, I was surprised (wait what am I even saying ._.). She bought a Blackforest cake for me and also celebrated with me along with some other friends. Thanks for the cake dear =)

Here's a picture.

That's the cake. And Me.
So yeah, that's me. That's the cake. What was I doing? I was about to take the candle out with my mouth. Why? No idea... some kind of dare maybe? Haha, no worries, the cake wasn't polluted by my face. An item on my wishlist got fulfilled again on my birthday =)

A present from my dad.

Xperia V. V for Vincent.
Yeah, welcome to the smartphone era, Me. Oh God, the feeling of button-less messaging. I mean, that button pressing/mashing feeling..it's gone. Sentimental in a way. Really sentimental.

Screen. Just screen

That Sexy ARC
Yeap, the only buttons present left is the lock screen button and the volume increase/decrease button. I am sadly still getting used to it. getting used to having a phone that's slightly smarter than me in a way. Getting used to a phone that's button-less. OH! With this phone...my collection of Sony items just increased.

Those Sony things!
Oh oh! My girlfriend got me/made me something as well. =)

A jar of candy =)

A replica of The Brotherhood from Final Fantasy
The candy was nice, and the replica was...cute and awesome =D
She made it out of Sculpey. Some oven bake clay. I could see her effort and the details on it. I appreciate it dear. She even sent me a birthday song on WeChat. Went something like this:

"Happy Birthday to you~
Happy Birthday to you~
Happy Birthday to my dear dear~
Happy Birthday to you~
*muack*"

So.The.Very.Cute. Too bad I couldn't save it, or download it. But they had an option to make it into a ringtone though. Which.I.Might.Just.Do. =P

So yeah, and to end my post today, here's a picture of me and my cake =D

It was a Strawberry Shortcake
Lovely cake it was =)

Cheers all~

Part 2...Of Another Prank

As promised, part 2 is revealed. Well, before heading on to it and all, I'mjust gonna say if you don't like waht you're reading, stop reading. Simple. =) I didn't hold a gun or a knife point at you and forced you to read.

So, it was April 1st. And April 1st was coming to an end. Real fast. Scrolling through Facebook, I saw numerous posts attempting (Or maybe not) to prank and fool...with countless friends getting into relatonships, and pictures of smashed prized possessions, and lots of other posts on misguided trust and butthurt over being pranked. I myself personally already did a prank on my girlfriend earlier was just thinking oh well, already did one prank for this year...I'mma ignore and chill out of this one (That's..what I thought). Everytime April Fool's comes around, I automatically become more skeptical and cautious around even my best friends.

SO, there I was sitting, and chatting with my dear dear, and all of a sudden this wild thought pop into my head. I asked my girlfriend whether she'd wanna do a prank together, and she was like...I was just thinking about that. So I asked her, whether she was thinking the same thing I was...to which she answered yes. Oh the genius psychic she is  (¬、¬) she easily reads through my mind. It was:

"A Fake Argument Break Up - thingy"

Yeah, so we set it in motion at first she was just fine with arguing and all, but I wanted to up the game, reason being, it's only once in a prank-life (is that even a word? .__. ) and, I just thought of it being my last teenage year prank. Why? Cause technically I'm supposed to be 20 this year BUUUUUTTTT my birthday hasn't passed. Therefore I am still 19... NINE- 'TEEN'......*mumbles* plus.....I was gonna end my teen year with a bang. Cause as of April 1st, it was 20 days to 20th for me. We pulled off the argument prank, and for a moment she was actually doing it so good, I nearly ate my own prank and believed it was actually happening. Oh God....What kind of prankster falls for his own pranks!?  Oh...wait....me  (;¬_¬)

So, some of our friends ate it, some didn't, and some were....teethering on the fence unsure of whether to believe it or not. And by 12 as of the end of April 1st....it was revelation. So yeah, I must say it was a successful prank nevertheless and....SORRY GUYSSSSS >__<  Hahaha  but you got fooled. *shot*

A note though, I will never ever post personal issues on Facebook e.g. Relationship issues, and whatnot. Another note, I won't use the same pranks twice. =)

Cheers all and...up next
Turning 20

Of Pranks and...April FOOLS!

Hey guys! .......And Girls! Haha, been a week or so since I last posted. Anyway, today I'm feeling especially hardworking. So therefore another new post =D. I'm just not sure if people even bother reading my blog which...talks about my experiences and nothing else. I mean...who wants to read about other peoples life right? (Except maybe..if they were famous .____. I'm.... not)

So yeah, I've been looking at the pageviews and traffic is..not bad so to say. I am getting views but..what I was wondering was if people actually read the things I post. Sometimes I post on Facebook and I do know of some people who reads the stuff I post. Oh wai- *slaps self* I am derailing my own blog post now. Back to the main topic! All of you may have or more like have been pranked on that one day in April. Where pranks are everywhere, where trust is tested, where you are betrayed for that one day, where....yeah you doubt yourself and your trust. That day is none other than.. *drumrooooooooolls* DUN DUN DUNNNNNN, APRIL FOOLS!

Yeah, that. So I've been pranked, pulled a prank(actually many pranks), and pranked with. This year, was a year, I made a prank that involved planning a month ahead. Then so begins...the story...of the 2013 April Fools Prank.

It was a day like any other, I was talking to my mom. My mom was talking to me (well why not? We were talking.) She told me about how dad was supposed to go to Nigeria years ago when I was still a kid as an engineer for Esso. He declined due to me being young and my younger sis still an infant. She told me how he could have returned with enough money to retire. But bygones be bygones, now there was when I came up with an idea. I told my girlfriend, that I may have to follow my dad to Nigeria on a work contract. Wait a few weeks for confirmation. Two weeks later, I told her it was confirmed. I'd be leaving on the 31st of March. Would probably be in Nigeria for a week or so to survey the work environment with dad before anything else. It was of course to be a night flight. So the prank was set in motion. I felt guilty seeing her worried about me but I told myself, it's just a few days to go. Hold it in boy. I told her this on the 27th of March. So on the 31st, 3pm. I got online to pretend that I was leaving soon for the airport, bid my farewells.

Her face...was downcast. 3.30pm I couldn't do it anymore. When she asked which airport I'd be at the conversation went as follow.

Her > Dear...which airport will you be at?
Me> Hmmm guess?
Her> KLIA?
Me> nope nope
Her> LCCT?
Me> Nope.
Her> EH??? Don't la like that...which airport? And don't tell me you'll fly there.
Me> Yeah I'd grow wings and fly there =D
Her> *gives me the skeptical look*  What...seriously la dearrrr *frustrated*
Me> Guess la =P
Her> LCCT...? =I
Me> nope =P
Her> Eh don't tell me you're not going  or something =I
Me> *give her that grin*
Her> Huh...? Why you grinning!? Oh...Oh...
Me> Happy...Be-early April Fools dear =P

And then it was a load of her being shy and embarassed and all, but that was cute =)

All in all it ended on a happy note and also..I was glad that she was so worried about me. To that extent. I love you dear =) And no worries, no more pranks like this. I don't use the same pranks twice anyway.

THAT WAS JUST PART 1 of my big APRIL FOOL.
This is...a prank that I planned due to the reason I'm turning twenty soon. With the end of my teenage years, I wanted to end it with a teenage bang. =)

Stay tuned for Part Two.

Of...passing and respect.

Well, after a year, age sure catches up fast. I can't say much. Just last year I lost someone I loved dearly, the memories we spent together and the times we had as she looked after me while I grew up. I am talking about my dear grandmother on my dad's side. She's still remembered with fond memories. Just a three days ago, on the 31st of March 2013, it was then that my other grandmother from my mother's side, left this world. I am now officially grandparent-less, having lost both grandfathers when I was uh....12-ish?

Can't say I was really close to my grandmother on mom's side. Just the occasional greetings during Chinese New Year. But I respected her all the same, for she single-handedly brought up 7 kids. That's no simple feat. All I can remember of her was this stern figure, scary at times and she was probably the main reason why my mom is such a strict person (not that I'm complainign much, I love you mom!)

So yeah, here's to her memory
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all from me for now, and it's gettig late. We just finished the burning the ashes yesterday and today marks the final day of the ceremony where we put the ashes to rest.

P.S: I didn't post this up earlier cause, people might think it was an April Fools prank...since some people can't take a prank. Oh well, one thing here, I won't ever use death as a prank.

 Cheers~
